The proposed Aquaculture Park in Thatta, approved under the PPP Policy Board, Government of Sindh, represents a transformative step toward unlocking the immense potential of Sindh’s coastal belt.

Planned to be developed by SEZMC, the Park will feature an enabling ecosystem equipped with modern hatcheries, earthen ponds, seafood processing units, and green energy solutions. Designed to support shrimp and allied sectors, this initiative aims to enhance exports, attract private investment, promote technology transfer, and generate employment across coastal communities.
By combining innovation, sustainability, and global expertise, the Aquaculture Park is set to drive inclusive economic growth, strengthen Sindh’s role in the national Blue Economy, and ensure long-term prosperity for Thatta and beyond.
