Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh on Investment & PPP, along with the SEZMC team, held a productive meeting with Mr. Padrini, CEO of Pedrini S.p.A, one of Italy’s leading technology providers in the marble sector.

The discussion focused on technical support, knowledge exchange, and capacity building, with a strong interest in exploring collaboration at the M-10 Industrial Park, Karachi – a flagship initiative of the Government of Sindh.

During the discussion it was mentioned that this project is strategically located in Karachi with direct access to ports & trade corridors. We have dedicated cluster for Marble & Allied Industries, designed to enhance efficiency, value addition, and global competitiveness. With this project we aim to attract foreign direct investment, transfer Italian innovation & machinery expertise, and create skilled employment opportunities in Pakistan.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards positioning Pakistan as a regional hub for marble and stone processing, while fostering sustainable industrial growth through public–private partnerships.
